Lieve fans,

What a fijne weekend for Victoria Dames 1 who took 3 points against Oss away on the road! 

We packed up and left Rotterdam early for the long(ish) car ride to Oss, but the gezellig time together prepared us well for the match! Once we arrived, the skies were quite grey and the wind was koud but cleared away in perfect time for the match. Victoria dominated the first half of the match and managed to score 3 goals during this time and conceded only 1. Captain Janneke Van Leeuwen broke the ice in just the first 5 minutes with a textbook goal right in front of the net off a  super sterke & snell baseline assist from vice captain Daphne Voormoolen. Not soon after that, the "Woman of the Match" Ariane de Beaufort earned her first goal of the season by netter a laser backhand shot - her signature move! The final Victoria goal was like Déjà vu which was once again by Janneke Van Leeuwen! The fina l goal was assisted by Mady Hof , who used her "trickery" to make her way down the right sideline to the baseline and place the perfect ball to Van Leeuwen. 

While the second half was scoreless for Victoria, the desire to win kept them on top! A three point weekend was much needed and deserved after a series "jammer" games...We will continue to move forward and train hard in preparation for our next home match against Push -  12:45 uur   29 Maart !
